If you read my blog about the 1733 Fleet’s San Fernando: My White Whale, you will see it still hasn’t been officially found, it could have been destroyed by 300 years of hurricanes, the wreck remains mixed with other nearby ships or maybe something else. I am wondering if the construction of the Overseas Railroad and later Overseas Highway may have disturbed the remains of the wreck with all the dredging and dumping, any thoughts on this? One day I want to get to the Flagler archives in Palm Beach and examine the work done around Grassy Key
